The knit

  • 240gsm cotton-rich jersey with four-way stretch
  • Washed and worn for shape retention before the pattern is cut
  • Brushed inside, so it sits flat against the skin

How it is built

  • Flatlock seams wherever the body moves
  • Reinforced stitching at the shoulder, the first seam to give out
  • A bonded hem that will not roll in the wash

Washing instructions

  • Machine wash cold
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Do not dry clean
  • Touch up with a cool iron

Extra care information

  • Hang to dry, out of direct sun
  • Wash inside out with like colours
  • Skip the softener: it coats the fibres and stops the knit wicking sweat

What we do

  • One factory, visited twice a year, paying a living wage
  • Offcuts go back into the next run rather than to landfill
  • Orders ship in paper, never plastic

What we do not

  • No seasonal drops, so nothing is made to be replaced
  • No virgin polyester anywhere in the range
  • No air freight on a restock

Built to keep its shape

01

Fabric first

Every knit is washed and worn for shape retention before a pattern is cut, so the fit on day one is the fit after a year.

02

Seams that hold

Flatlock seams where the body moves and reinforced stitching at the shoulder, the first place a training top gives out.

03

Cut to move

Patterns are drafted for lifting, running and everything in between, with room where you need it and none where you do not.
